A Fair Evening

And by that- I mean the Champlain Valley Fair.

It was SO refreshing to go to the fair. Besides indulging in corn dogs and fried dough, the colors and sounds at the fairgrounds are invigorating.

I love making portraits, capturing family moments, and spending time with my clients- but tonight my creativity was flowing because it was all about me! I wandered around the midway without a plan, looking for beautiful light- and it was the perfect night.

So soak up the whimsical colors and enjoy a bit of fair fun...

5 Year Old Twin Boys

Enough said? Haha. Sam and Jack certainly gave me a run for my money tonight! In fact, Scott suggested I add that to my resume.

We found dirt piles, frogs, and lots of bugs tonight but I think you'll agree all those silly faces and sprinting around the yard paid off.

Annie your boys are spunky and sweet- here's a sneak peek :)

New Website in the Works

I'm excited to announce a new website is on the way! While I love my current site, this new one will be totally rocking and in flash. Think bigger images, slideshows, and tons of space to grow into! But don't worry, those of you on dialup- I'll be keeping my old site around too for those not on broadbrand.

I'll be sending an announcement around when its launched (hopefully in a few weeks), stay tuned for the newsletter. If you'd like to receive a notification sign up on the sidebar or at the current studio homepage.

I know, I know, the kiddos are barely back to school- but now is the time to be thinking ahead to holiday portraits and cards. Sessions for the fall book quickly, so if you know you will be needing a weekend session time, I advise you to call as soon as you know you'd like me as your photographer.

I'm excited to offer beautiful 5x7 linen finish press printed greeting cards this year. These are folded cards completely customized with your session image(s) and a greeting inside. Your card will stand out from the crowd and be displayed by friends throughout the year- they are just that great! Available in boxes of 24 and envelopes are included.

Cards can also be ordered from any previous 2006 session and all upload fees are waived. Email me for details.

Absolutely all orders must be submitted by December 1st to be guaranteed delivery by Christmas.

A Laugh is a Smile that Bursts

Couldn't resist just one more senior image- see, its not all about attitude. I find some of my favorite photos from each session are those "in-between" moments. Those fleeting moments when you forget about the camera and let a bit of yourself shine through.
