A Note from Abby & David

"Abby and I just got our pictures tonight and I wanted to let you know that we loved every single photo. You were able to capture our daughter's personality in every picture. Your excitement for your work was reflected in your photographs. You were professional and easy to work with. We would recommend you to family and friends." -Abby & David

Thank you so much for your words, a small gift is on its way to you!

Listen Up

You know, one can only talk about themselves so much- lol.

And while I'm plugging away in the car, on my computer, and out running I'm constantly listening to great music. I've got thousands of songs, a very electic mix- everything from Billy Joel to Jay-Z to Madonna and The Who. But how often is it that you discover a whole ALBUM that you love? So listen up, here are 5 albums that are worth checking out.

Keane- Under the Iron Sea
The Fray- How to Save a Life
Coldplay- X&Y
James Blunt- Back to Bedlam
Nelly Furtado- Loose

Seniors: Dare to be Different

Well, I'm back! And let me tell you, this weekend was a whirlwind of ideas! Dave Ashby was great, and I loved meeting photographers from around the country.

Bring to Light Photography is booking senior portrait appointments- if you're looking for a unique portrait experience where you're the star- look no further! Do you want portraits downtown, at your camp, at your favorite hangout? We do that- and more. As a location photographer every session I shoot is custom, so your senior portraits will be different than everyone else's.

I'm excited to announce I will be offering two Fresh Faces senior portrait sessions. What's that you ask? One enthusiastic girl and guy will be offered a free senior portrait session ($125 value) in exchange for modeling in a few new locations. In addition, you can earn portrait credits by referring your friends to us. Students in the class of 2007 please contact me for details. Let me leave you with a sampling of senior portraits, more to come!

Take a couple of seconds and send an email to info@bludomainhosting.com and vote for Underwater Chad to win the 2006 Blu Guy 2 Of The Year Contest! Today is the last day of voting. He had such a clever idea, notice this shot is taken at the bottom of his swimming pool! In the subject line please put: I vote for Underwater Chad.

Here is his photo...

On another note, tomorrow I'm leaving for the great state of PA for a 3 day photography conference. I cannot wait! Its going to be great and I'm coming home with LOTS of great new ideas. Stay tuned. Oh and I might have shoddy service down there so I'll answer all emails when I return Tuesday!

Have a great weekend all! :)

Slide

Ok couldn't resist, check out the sidebar for a mini slideshow! Check back for updates soon :)

So Busy!

Sorry all, I've been so busy lately I haven't had time to update! I've just moved back into Vermont and am currently booking sessions around Chittenden County. With the move of course comes LOTS of unpacking, organizing, and paperwork. Moving, my younger brother's graduation, and the holiday weekend just added to that!

I don't have much time but I'll leave you with one of my new favorites; K was amazed at a bee sitting on the flowers. I love making children's portraits just because of instances like this- things we overlook everyday children notice.

Thank you all for checking in with me- I promise a full update is on its way!
